We are a small group of believers in Yeshuah (Jesus) Messiah, meeting for bible study weekly on Shabbat morning (Saturdays).
To aid our study we follow the Torah Portion (Parshah) which splits the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) into manageable weekly readings throughout the year and includes additional readings from the Prophets and the New Testament.
The Parshah is read in Jewish homes and synagogues and by Messianic believers all over the world and would have been read weekly by early followers of Jesus and by our Messiah himself.
Our desire is to follow Yeshuah more faithfully through examining the scriptures and learning from each other. None of us are ‘experts’ or especially learned but we do our best and welcome anyone of similar beliefs who would like to study with us.
What we believe
We believe the whole Bible is inspired by God and useful for instruction, correction and training (2 Tim 3:16-17)
That there is one true God YHWH (Deut 6:4) who came in the flesh through His son Yeshuah and comforts, encourages and tests us through his Holy Spirit; and that this God created all things (John 1:1-5 ).
We believe in the deity of our Lord Yeshua, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal, physical and visible return in power and glory.
We believe that man (and woman) has sinned against God and that our only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Yeshua, the Son of God (John 3:16). That he is gracious and just and will forgive our sins if we repent of our lawlessness and come under his rulership.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in the final judgement of the world, the redeemed to eternal life and the wicked (those who choose to reject Yeshua) to eternal punishment.
